This product is designed for use as a domestic freshwater and saltwater hand pump in caravans and boats. The pump may also be
used in conjunction with an inline pump, or as a back up to a submersible pump.
1. This product is designed for use with fresh or salt water. If it is intended for use with any other liquid, it is the
user’s responsibility to ensure that the materials are fully compatible with the liquids to be used and that a
system of safe working practice is applied to installation, use and maintenance.
2. The manufacturer cannot be held responsible for claims arising from incorrect installation, unauthorised
modification or misuse of the product.
NOTE: Incorrect installation will invalidate warranty. Choose a
position where the pump can be operated comfortably.
NOTE: The maximum reach of the spout is 113mm (4¼”), and
the backwards reach of the lever is 150mm (6”). Two holes
are required for the mounting of the pump, one to accept the
main body and one for the location pipe.
Once a suitable location has been found to mount the pump,
use the enclosed template, and mark the centres of the two
holes to be drilled. The one for the main body is to be Ø54mm
(2⅛”), and the one for the location pipe is to be Ø8mm (

”).
The pump is secured in position by tightening the locking ring
to the main body, from underneath the work top.

Hose Connections - Use 13mm (½”) flexible hose.
To operate the pump, swivel the handle backwards and forwards. Water will discharge on one stroke only.
The Flipper pump is designed to require minimal maintenance. Service kits AK0405 and AS0406 are available. With all Whale®
products, the complete system should be drained in preparation for winter.
