What to do if Whale Gulper Grouper Mk 3 motor runs but pump fails to work?
    • J
      Jesus MartinAug 2, 2025
If the Whale Water Pump motor is running, but the pump isn't working, there might be a blockage in the hoses, pump head, or valves. Inspect these components and clean them if necessary. Also, check the tricuspid valves to ensure they are not inverted; replace them if they are. Another possible cause is stripped gearwheel teeth, potentially due to a closed outlet sea cock. In this case, the pump cannot be repaired and needs replacement.

Why my Whale Water Pump electric motor does not operate?
    • J
      Joseph ThorntonAug 15, 2025
If the Whale Water Pump's electric motor isn't operating, first ensure the isolator switch is turned on. Then, verify that the pump is receiving the correct voltage (12 V or 24 V d.c.). Lastly, check the fuse and replace it or reset the circuit breaker if it has blown.
