COMBINATION ELECTRIC FIREPLACE/HEATER

Your Whalen fireplace/heater unit comes in two distinct parts:
The fireplace unit itself, (Figure 1), and the Remote Control, (Figure 2).

The Fireplace/Heater Unit
On the top right corner of the fireplace/heater unit is the control panel. This panel contains the buttons and
displays to properly operate the fireplace/heater unit. Refer to Figure 3 for placement of the control buttons.
The far left segment, (1), is a display unit. This segment will show information about flame level, timer, and
current temperature. Information about the flame level and current temperature are displayed in red, timer
information is displayed in blue.
The next segment, (2), is a power indicator. It has two square LED’s, a red one and a blue one. The red LED
indicates that the heater function is running, and the blue LED indicates that the timer function is engaged.
