The next segment, (3), is a button for activating the timer function. You activate the timer by pressing the
button multiple times to get the amount of time your want the fireplace/heater to run. The timer button
operates both the flames and the heater function. If the heater is operating when the timer is set, then the
heater is on the timer. If the flames are operating, then the timer will control the flames. If both the heater
and flames are operating with the timer is set, then the timer controls both the flames and the heater.
Pressing the button in sequence will set the timer for a set interval. This interval period is shown in the display
segment, (1), in blue. The set intervals are as follows:
The timer interval is set from the time the interval is selected. There is no clock function for turning the heater
or flames on or off at a specific time.
The next segment, (4), is a power button for the heater. The selected functions are on or off. There is no
speed setting for the heater blower. If the heater is on when the unit is turned off by the main power button,
when the power is turned back on, the heater will come on at the same time. If the heater is off when main
power is turned off, the heater will remain off when main power is turned back on.
The next segment, (5), is the flames control button. Like the timer button, there are four settings for the
flames. Pressing the flames button in sequence will set the flames for different levels of flame height. These
flame levels are show in the display segment (1). The flame settings are as follows:
Flames Highest, Logs Glow
Regardless of the flame setting when powered off by the main power button, the flames will come on in L4
mode, (High), when the power is turned back on by the main power button.
The last segment of the control panel, (6), is the main power button. As the name infers, the main
power button controls the overall power to the fireplace/heater unit. Pressing the button once turns power on
to the entire unit, and pressing the button again will turn power of to the entire unit. If you find that none of
the other buttons appear to work, check to make sure that main power is turned on to the unit.
