Mobile home installation
NOTE: Check codes requirements. Some
codes limit or do not permit installation of
clothes dryers in garages, closets, mobile
homes, or sleeping quarters. Contact your
local building inspector.
• The exhaust vent must be securely
fastened to a non-combustible portion of
the mobile home structure and must not
terminate beneath the mobile home.
• The dryer exhaust vent must not be
connected or secured with screw or other
devices which extend into the interior of
the vent.
• A kit is available to fasten the dryer
securely when the mobile home is in
transit. To purchase a kit, see the
"Assistance or Service" section. Your
dryer does not need to be secured when
the mobile home is not in transit.
