Overview

The Whirlpool DB200 Dehumidifier is designed to efficiently remove moisture from the air, offering a range of features for optimal performance and user convenience.

Function Description

The dehumidifier offers four primary operating modes: Auto, Continuous, Quiet, and Dry.

  • ON/OFF: To power on the machine, simply press the ON/OFF button after connecting it to the power supply.
  • Mode Selection: The MODE button allows users to cycle through the available operating modes: Auto, Continuous, Quiet, and Dry.
  • Auto Mode: In Auto mode, the machine automatically maintains a room humidity level ranging from 40-60%. The auto indicator lights up when this mode is active.
  • Continuous Mode: This mode is ideal for environments requiring significant dehumidification. When the continuous indicator is lit, the machine operates continuously, suitable for super dry conditions.
  • Quiet Mode: When the quiet indicator is lit, the machine operates at a low fan speed to minimize noise. The fan speed cannot be manually adjusted in this mode.
  • Dry Mode: The dry indicator illuminates when this mode is active. The machine continuously dehumidifies to maintain a specific humidity range, preventing mold and mildew. Fan speed and humidity settings are not adjustable in Dry mode.
  • Humidity Setting: Users can set their desired humidity level by pressing the Humidity button. Holding the button allows for incremental adjustments of 10% within a range of 30-80%. The set humidity value is displayed for 5 seconds after adjustment.
  • Timer Setting: The Timer button allows for setting an ON or OFF timer. Each press increases the timer by 1 hour, with a range of 0-24 hours. Holding the button enables continuous adjustment. The timer setting is displayed for 5 seconds, and the timer indicator lights up.
  • Fan Setting: The Fan button controls the fan speed, offering High, Medium, and Low options. The corresponding indicator light shows the selected fan speed.
  • Filter Reset: When the filter cleaning indicator is lit, it's time to clean the filter. After cleaning, simultaneously press the Fan and Humidity buttons to reset the indicator.
  • Child Lock: To activate the child lock, press the MODE and TIMER buttons simultaneously for one second. "LC" will appear on the display, indicating that the buttons are locked. Pressing MODE and TIMER simultaneously again will unlock the function.

    • Note: Never wash the unit directly with water to prevent internal damage.
  • Cleaning the Air Filter:
    1. Remove the panel: Press the buckles on both sides of the panel's lower end to open it by about 20 degrees. Then, press again to lift the panel upwards and remove it.
