    • J
      James GambleAug 19, 2025
Several factors can cause this issue. It could be due to: * A blown fuse or tripped circuit breaker: Replace the fuse or reset the breaker. * The furnace power switch being OFF: Turn the switch to ON. * The furnace blower compartment door or panel being loose or improperly installed: Replace the door panel correctly to engage the safety interlock or door switch. * A loose connection to the thermostat or system: Tighten the connections.

What to do if my White Rodgers 90 SERIES Thermostat is not heating?
    • P
      Phyllis NelsonAug 21, 2025
Several factors can cause this issue: * The pilot light might not be lit: Re-light the pilot. * The furnace might be in a Lock-Out Condition: Many furnaces have safety devices that shut down when a lock-out condition occurs. * The heating system requires service or the thermostat requires replacement: If the heat works intermittently, contact the furnace manufacturer or a local HVAC service person for assistance. Also, set the SYSTEM Switch to HEAT and raise the setpoint above room temperature. You should hear a soft click, indicating proper operation. If there's no click, try resetting the thermostat; if it still doesn't click, consider replacing it.
