Overlocking
stitches
make
it
possible
to
sew
and
overcast
seams
at
the
same
time.
Set
machine
as
shown.
Put
two
pieces
of
cloth
together
with
the
right
sides
together
and
sew.
To
prevent
edges
from
fray
ing,
sew
so
that
right
side
stitches
drop
outside
the
edge
of
material.
In
some
cases
overlocking
stitches
can
be
used
for
over
casting.
