The area you're trying to dehumidify might be too large, requiring an additional dehumidifier. Check if air movement through the dehumidifier is blocked, and clean the air filter if the air grill is dirty. Also, verify that continuous mode is not activated; set the desired RH% level, and the appliance will automatically stop once that level is reached.

Keep in mind that the appliance won't operate effectively if the room temperature is below 53°F (12°C). Finally, ensure that all windows and doors are closed.
