In case you perform recovery/recycling cycles of high quantities of liquid refrigerant (more than 2kg),
regulate the input flow by turning the INPUT valve so that the pressure read on the low pressure gauge
(7) does not exceed 6 bar
e) Before starting the unit, make sure the unit is connected to the right power (as the marked name
plate).
f) Be sure that the HVAC or A/C system are switched off
g) Open the vapour and liquid valves of the HVAC or A/C system
h) Open the vapour valve of the refrigerant tank
i) Press the START button to start the compressor.
j) Open the liquid port (or only vapour, or both) on your manifold gauge set.
k) Slowly open the INPUT valve
l) In case you perform recovery/recycling cycles of high quantities of liquid refrigerant (more than
2kg), regulate the input flow by turning the INPUT valve so that the pressure read on the M1
pressure gauge does not exceed 6 bar
m) If the compressor starts to knock, slowly throttle back the INPUT valve until the knocking stops.
n) If the unit fails to start or has stopped due to an excessive quantity of liquid inside the
compressor, please turn the INPUT valve to close position and then start the unit by pressing the
START button; then slowly open the INPUT valve.
o) Let the unit run until you reach a pressure of 2 bar on the gauge 7. Stop the unit by means of the
START button.
p) Turn the INPUT valve to close position
q) Connect the oil drain hose to the V5 valve situated on the rear of the unit.
r) Slowly open the valve until all the oil inside the unit is drained. At the end of this operation, turn
the V5 valve to close it.
s) Turn the INPUT valve to open position
t) Re-start the Recovery/Recycling function by pressing the START button
u) The unit stop automatically at the end of the cycle
v) When recovery process is over, start the self-purge process.
Always purge the unit after each use. Failure to purge the remained refrigerant from the unit could result
in the acidic degradation of internal components and ultimately cause premature failure of the unit.
If the START button is pressed in vacuum (no refrigerant) the unit has started anyway for 20 seconds.
