7.7 Firmware update
A firmware update can be made via the free software packages, WIKA-Cal or
WIKA-DCS.
Procedure
1. Install the WIKA-Cal software or alternative WIKA-DCS on a PC or notebook.
2. Connect the instrument to the PC or notebook via the USB interface.
3. Open the software
4. Open window X
5. Upload the firmware to the instrument

Do not disconnect the USB connection while the firmware is being transferred to
the instrument.
6. Switch off the instrument
7. Switch on the instrument again
Due to the firmware update, the switch-on process is delayed by approx. 3
seconds.

Tools: SW 27 open-ended spanner or torque wrench

Physical injuries and damage to property and the environment
caused by hazardous media
Upon contact with hazardous media (e.g. oxygen, acetylene, flammable
or toxic substances), harmful media (e.g. corrosive, toxic, carcinogenic,
radioactive), and also with refrigeration plants and compressors, there is a
danger of physical injuries and damage to property and the environment.
Should a failure occur, hazardous media with extremely high temperature
and under high pressure or vacuum may be present at the instrument.

For these media, in addition to all standard regulations, the appropriate
existing codes or regulations must also be followed.
