IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS – OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE
• This unit can be used by children aged 8 years and older as well as persons
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacity, or those who lack relevant
experience and knowledge, provided they are given supervision or instruction
concerning the safe use of the unit and understand the hazards involved.
• Children should not play with the unit.
• Cleaning and user maintenance should not be performed by children
without supervision.
• Do not connect the air conditioner to a multi-plug outlet as this may cause a
fire hazard.
• Disconnect the power supply when cleaning the air conditioner in order to
avoid electric shock.
• If the power supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to
avoid an electrical hazard.
• Do not wash the air conditioner with water as this may result in electric
shock.
• Do not spray water on the indoor unit as this may cause electric shock or
malfunction.
• After removing the filter, do not touch the fins in order to avoid injury. Do
not use a hair dryer or any device with open flames to dry the filter in order
to avoid a fire hazard or damage to the unit.
• Maintenance must be performed by qualified professionals in order to avoid
personal injury or damage to the unit.
• Do not repair the air conditioner on your own. This may cause electric
shock or damage. Please contact the dealer when you need to repair the air
conditioner.
• Do not insert fingers or objects into the air inlet or air outlet as this may
cause personal injury or damage.
• Do not block the air outlet or air inlet as this may cause malfunction.
• Do not spill water on the remote control as this may cause the remote
control device to malfunction.
• If any of the following occurs, please turn off the air conditioner, disconnect
the power immediately, and then contact the dealer or a qualified
professional for service.
– The power cord is overheating or damaged.
– An abnormal sound occurs during operation.
– The circuit breaker trips frequently.
– The air conditioner emits a burning odour.
– The indoor unit is leaking.
