Electrical Requirements
Installation must comply with all applicable electrical
codes and be properly grounded (earthed).
Locate the electrical supply within the shaded area shown
in the installation illustration on page 6. A separate circuit
servicing only this appliance is required. A ground fault
circuit interrupter (GFCI) is not recommended and may
cause interruption of operation.
ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENTS
Electrical Supply 220–240 V AC, 50 Hz
Service 0.2 A
Receptacle grounding-type (earthed)
Power Cord 1.8 m
WARNING
This appliance is supplied with a cord and can be
hard wired to a terminal box or plug. Do not remove
the ground (earthed) plug.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Connection of this appliance should
be through a fused connection unit or a suitable isolator,
which complies with national and local safety regulations.
The on/o switch should be easily accessible after the
appliance has been installed. If the switch is not accessible
after installation (depending on country) an additional
means of disconnection must be provided for all poles of
the power supply. When switched o, there must be an all
pole contact gap of 3mm in the isolator switch. This 3mm
contact disconnect gap must apply to any isolator switch,
fuses, and/or relays according to EN60335.
The sealed burner rangetop must be connected to a
regulated gas supply. The supply line must be equipped
with an approved external gas shut-o valve located
near the rangetop in an accessible location. Do not block
access to the shut-o valve. Refer to the illustration below.
A compatible ISO 7-1 gas inlet thread is provided on all
units. Contact your authorized Wolf dealer if an ISO 228-1
or other gas inlet thread is required. Pipe joint compounds,
suitable for use with LP gas should be used. For LP gas,
piping or tubing size can be 13mm minimum. LP gas
suppliers usually determine the size and materials used on
the system.
If local codes permit, a flexible metal appliance connector
is recommended for connecting this rangetop to the gas
supply line. Do not kink or damage the flexible connector
when moving the rangetop.
If rigid pipe is used as a gas supply line, a combination of
pipe fittings must be used to obtain an in-line connection to
the rangetop. All strains must be removed from the supply
and gas lines so the rangetop will be level and in line.
The appliance and its shut-off valve must be disconnected
from the gas supply piping system during any pressure
testing of the system at test pressures in excess of .5 psi
(3.5kPa). The appliance must be isolated from the gas
supply piping system by closing its individual manual
shutoff valve during any pressure testing of the system at
test pressures equal to or less than .5 psi (3.5 kPa).
Gas Supply
Installation must conform with local codes.
Locate the gas supply within the shaded area shown in the
installation illustration on page 6.
The rangetop is equipped for use with natural or liquid
propane (LP) gas. The product rating plate has information
on the type of gas that should be used. For rating plate
location, refer to the illustration below. If this information
does not agree with the type of gas available, check with
the local gas supplier. The gas pressure regulator is built
into the unit. The regulator is set to 1 kPa mbar for natural
gas and 2.5 kPa for LP.
