Replacing the fuse in the car adapter

WARNING!

Fire hazard!

Bypassing a fuse can cause a fire.

− Never bypass a faulty fuse and only replace the fuse with an-

other fuse of the same type.

If charging via the car adapter

does not work but the lamp can be charged using

the power adapter

, the fuse built into the car adapter may be defective. Follow

these instructions to replace it:

1. Unscrew the knurled ring on the car adapter by turning it counterclockwise.

2. Replace the defective fuse with a new fuse of the type F2AL250V (2A, 250V, fast).

3. Reinsert the coiled spring and screw the knurled ring with the metal cap clockwise

until tight.
