1. FAQ/Troubleshooting
Trouble Problem Suggested remedy
Circular Saw will
not start
Battery pack (2)* is flat. Recharge the battery pack (2)*
Burned out switch Contact Customer Service for further advice.
Faulty motor Contact Customer Service for further advice.
Blade does not
reach full speed
Tool is overheating Turn off the tool and let it cool down to room temperature.
Inspect and clean the ventilation slots.
During use, do not push as hard.
Poor cutting Blunt blade Replace or sharpen circular saw blade (21).
Vibration or
abnormal noise
Loose parts Check to see that all knobs and levers are securely
tightened including bevel adjustment knob (9), depth locking
lever (18) and parallel guide locking knob (11).
Blade vibrating Ensure that the blade bolt (24) is securely tightened.
Check for any missing teeth on the blade, and replace the
blade (21) if necessary.
Moving parts excessively
