Overview

The XAG P-Series RTK UAV is a battery-powered multi-rotor aircraft designed for agricultural applications across various environments and terrains. It integrates the SUPERX RTK Flight Control System and XAI agricultural intelligence engine, aiming to redefine UAV technology with advanced industrial designs, a dynamic propulsion system, and complete water-resistant performance. The P-Series features an integrated body with an enclosed avionics structure, reinforced with carbon aluminum composite for reliability in harsh operating conditions.

Function Description:

The P-Series RTK UAV is primarily used for precision agricultural spraying. Its SUPERX RTK flight control system enables autonomous flight and obstacle avoidance, minimizing safety risks with AI Fault Prediction. The iRASS intelligent centrifugation technology enhances spraying precision, utilizing a macromolecule-atomizing disk that responds to commands within 1 second to prevent overlaps or misses. The exclusive AI Diagnose & Prescription technology provides adaptive spraying services for various crops and pest diseases. The intelligent chemical container automatically senses chemical density, temperature, and volume, updating information during flight to adjust chemical output and differentiate flying routines, preventing chemical overdose.

Operation Modes:

The UAV offers multiple operation modes:

  • Standard Pattern: Guides the aircraft along a system-generated and operator-approved flight route, generated after field corners are recorded and parameters confirmed. Operators can edit parameters like spray width, boundary safe distance, obstacle safe distance, no spray safe distance, speed, height, terrain following, dosage, and atomization ratio. The aircraft maintains distance from vegetation in a zigzag route.
  • Custom Waypoint: Recommended for applying liquid-based material to specific areas in a point-to-point mode.
  • Spot Spray: Based on precision mapping and autopilot navigation, it applies liquid precisely to specific locations, capable of covering 240 spots/trees per hour. It performs spiral spray if the spot diameter is less than spray width, and rotary spray if greater. It automatically applies a fixed volume per spot, reducing chemical wastage.
  • Manual Mode: Reintegrated for emergency control, allowing operators to manually adjust flight parameters, start/stop spraying, spray rate, flight speed, terrain following, and Return-to-Home (RTH). However, XAG does not recommend operating in Manual Mode due to high accident rates caused by human error.

Key Features:

  • Intelligent Flight Battery: XAG™ Battery System includes Li-Po Smart Batteries (440Wh, 660Wh, 710Wh, 800Wh) with self-balancing and self-heating functions for stable operation in low temperatures, extending battery life and efficiency.
  • RTK Positioning and High Precision Navigation System: Equipped with GNSS RTK for centimeter-level accuracy. Supports Cloud RTK flying mode in areas with cellular network coverage, potentially eliminating the need for a portable base station. Two independent onboard GNSS RTK antennas allow the UAV to identify its nose direction without a compass, enabling operation in magnetic interference environments.
  • Radar Terrain Tracing and Optic Positioning: Millimeter Wave Radar detects terrain differences up to 30 meters, suitable for rugged terrains, with omni-bearing 40° terrain sensing and deviation ≤ 10cm. Optic positioning activates automatically when GNSS RTK or GPS is interfered, assisting localization day and night. The radar sensor is water-resistant for harsh weather.
  • APAS Obstacle Avoidance and AI Fault Prediction: Advanced Pilot Automatic System (APAS) identifies obstacles (radius ≥5cm) 20 meters away and detours automatically. Near-infrared illumination enables night obstacle avoidance. Flight logs are transmitted to a cloud server in real-time for AI analysis and early fault alerts.
  • Flight Recorder: Automatically records flight data to internal storage, exportable via USB port and A2 Pilot phone.
  • Empty Tank Warning: Intelligent chemical container senses chemical density, temperature, and volume. The XAG Operation APP indicates when the liquid container is empty, prompting the aircraft to return home and land automatically.
  • Operation Resumption: Supports pausing operations (e.g., due to AI Fault Detection, insufficient battery/liquid), automatically calculating pre-flight and recording breakpoints.
