and follow the instructions in this manual, and pay particular attention

The Truecharge 20i/40i is designed to charge 12 volt lead-acid
batteries including sealed, maintenance-free, and gel types. The
Truecharge 20i is best suited for batteries with capacities between
100 ampere hours and 400 ampere hours (battery sizes from 27 to
8D) and the Truecharge 40i is best suited for batteries with capacities
above 400 ampere hours (8D and larger).
The Truecharge 20i/40i has two separate DC positive terminals and
a common negative terminal to allow charging of two separate
batteries (or battery banks) of the same type. The Truecharge 20i/40i
can also perform equalization charging on flooded (non-sealed or
wet) batteries, as recommended by battery manufacturers.

components. Do not disassemble the charger: take it to a
qualified service person when service or repair is required.
