disconnect AC power from your Truecharge 20i/40i before
attempting any maintenance.

the vicinity of a battery or engine. Be sure the battery com-
partment is well ventilated.
Warning: This equipment contains components which tend
to produce arcs or sparks. To prevent fire or explosion do not
install in compartments containing batteries or flammable
materials or in locations which require ignition-protected
equipment.
Caution: Use the Truecharge 20i/40i for charging 12 V LEAD-
ACID batteries only. Do not attempt to charge a battery which
is not rated at 12 volts. Damage to the battery and/or charger
may result.
Installation
Location:
The Truecharge 20i/40i must be installed in a location that meets the
following requirements:
1) Dry - Do not allow water or other fluids to drip or splash on the
Truecharge 20i/40i.
2) Cool - Ambient air temperature should be between 0ºC and 40ºC
3) Ventilated - Allow at least 10 cm of clearance around the
Truecharge 20i/40i for air flow. Ensure that the ventilation openings
on the unit are not obstructed.
