Xiaomi Redmi AirDots 2 Manual | How to Pair / Connect?
To iOS and Android phones
Step 1: Take both earbuds out of the charging case. They will turn on and pair to each other
automatically and a white light will start flashing quickly. When it starts flashing slowly, they
will be ready to pair to any device.
In case that the earbuds don’t turn on automatically, all you have to do is to press and hold the
multifunction touch button on both earbuds for about 2 seconds. After that, a white light will turn
on and they will turn on.
Step 2: Go to the device’s Bluetooth settings.
Step 3: Select “Redmi AirDots 2_R” or “Redmi AirDots 2_L”. If a password is needed, type
“0000”.
Step 4: After that, the pairing will be done.
To PC (Windows)
Step 1: Turn on Window’s Bluetooth.
Step 2: Go to the settings.
Step 3: Go to “Bluetooth and other devices”.
Step 4: Click on “Add device”.
Step 5: Click on Bluetooth.

  3. Select Earbud: Select "Redmi AirDots 2_R" or "Redmi AirDots 2_L", depending on which earbud you are using. If a password is needed, type "0000". The pairing will be done.

Earbuds:

  • White light flashing slowly: Earbuds are ready to pair.
  • Red light on while charging: Earbuds are charging.
  • Red and blue light flashing alternately 3 times and then turn off: Earbuds are resetting.

Charging Case:

  • Red light on: Case is charging.
  • Red light off: Case is fully charged.
  • White light on for 1 minute and then turns off: Earbuds are fully charged within the case.

Resetting the Earbuds

If you encounter pairing or connection issues, resetting the earbuds can often resolve them.

  1. Place in Case: Place both earbuds into the charging case.
  2. Press and Hold: Press and hold the multifunction touch button on both earbuds for about 15 seconds. A red and white light will flash alternately 3 times and then turn off.
  3. Remove from Case: Take both earbuds out of the charging case.
  4. Reset Complete: The resetting process is now complete.

Troubleshooting Common Problems

Left / Right / One side of the earbuds have stopped working:

  • Low Battery/Connection Issue: This could be due to a low battery or an incorrect connection.
