The Documentation Camera
You can use the 8 MP documentation camera on the back of the tablet to take pictures in BMP, JPG,
and TIFF formats.
Camera Software
The R12 includes the xCapture Pro™ application that lets you shoot, save, edit, email, print and copy
your photos with both cameras. Please reference the xCapture Pro™ user guide at the following

Using the SlateMate Module (Optional)
The XSLATE R12-Series SlateMate® option is factory-installed module consisting of a barcode scanner
(BCS), high-frequency RFID ready (HF RFID), and a serial port. Two configurations are available.
