Install the pump in a horizontal ground. The ground must be solid sturdy, horizontal, and no vibration. For the
purpose of periodic maintenance, please do not move the pump as far as possible once installation finished. The
pump should be used indoors. In order to protect the electrical components from influence of weather, rain loose
and a well drainage area are required when used outdoors, so that water will not be stored on rainy day. Do not
install in damp or stuffy place, since enough windy and free flow of air is necessary to prevent motor from
overheating.
PUMP PLACEMENT
1. The anchor bolts must be tightened when installing, in order to avoid them coming loose from vibration when
the pump is operating.
2. The suction hose of pump should be larger than 40mm and its diameter must be equal or larger than the
diameter of the release hose.
3. Do not allow air to run directly into the running pump.
4. The pump must be connected to the correct power supply and voltage which is declared on the sticker and
nameplate.
5. All connections must be made and operated by a licensed electrician.
6. The suction hose must be continuously tilted straight upward from the bottom. The joint must be tight (but not
overly tight).
7. The ideal temperature for a working pump is 32°F to 104°F. If the temperature is too high or too low, the pump
will stop working and damage may occur.
8. A ground lead must be used to protect the motor.
9. To avoid deforming the pump, the weight of installed houses should not be added to the pump.
INSTALLATION
CONNECTING THE POWER
Check whether used voltage is corresponding to that required on the sticker and nameplate. The voltage for the
motor should not exceed 10% or below the requirement on the sticker on the voltage; otherwise the motor will
overheat and lead to overload trip and shorten the life of the component. All connections must be operated by a
qualified
electrician. All wires must comply with applicable local and national laws or regulations. Leakage circuit
breaker must be configured to avoid electric shake when deterioration of insulation occurs because of product
age.
