Take
out
the
two
screws
in
the
back
of
lock
and
remove
the
lock
cover
with
the
tumblers
attached.
Spring
off
the
wire
snap-ring
and
remove
all
tumblers
and
washers.
On
the
back
of
each
tumbler
there
-
is
a
number
1,
2
or
3,
showing
the
order
of
replacing
tumblers
on
the
Take
tumbler
No.
1
andere-
move
its
inner
disc
by
pushing
it
up
from
the
outer
ring.
Then
re-
set
this
disc
in
this
ring
in
such
a
manner
that
the
first
number
(10)
you
have
selected
will
come
opposite
the
mark
on
the
inner
disc.
Then
push
the
disc
down
snugly
into
the
ring
until
the
surfaces
are
EVEN
and
replace
5
this
complete
tumbler
No.
1
on
ee
RING
rea
the
post
(graduated
face
up-
ward)
and
put
a
washer
over
it.
Operate
same
way
with
tumbler
No.
2,
setting
it
on
your
second
number
(20)
and
place
it
on
the
post
and
put
a
washer
over
it.
Then
do
the
sime
with
tumbler
No:
3,
using
(30)
your
third
number,
and
then
place
this
tumbler
on
the
post.
Replace
the
snap-ring
over
the
post,
to
hold
tumblers
down,
and
then
examine
carefully
to
see
that
the
graduated
face
of
each
tumbler
is
at
the
top
and
that
the
two
washers
and
the
snap-ring
are
ir
position.
Write
down
your
combination
numbers
lest
you
forget
the
num-
bers
and
be
locked
out.
Now,
with
your
safe
doot
OPEN,
throw
the
door
bolts
into
the
locked
position—then
turn
your
lock
dial
till
the
lock-bolt
dogs
the
door-boits.
Then
replace
the
cover.
with
the
tumblers
attached,
and
put
back
the
screws
securely.
If
curb
doesn’t
go
down
snugly
against
the
lock
case,
then
your
LOCK
BOLT
is
not
thrown
forward—turn
the
dial
a
little
bit.

Set
tumblers
Nos.
1
and
2
on
the
first
number
of
the
combination,
and
No.
3
on
the
last.
IF
ONE
NUMBER
IS
DESIRED.
Set
all
three
tumblers
on
the
same
number.
