Why does my Yamaha 100A engine idle irregularly or stall?

If your Yamaha Outboard Motor engine idles irregularly or stalls, several factors could be responsible: * Inspect the spark plug(s). Clean or replace with the recommended type if fouled or incorrect. * Check the fuel system for any pinches or kinks in the fuel line or other obstructions. * Ensure the fuel is clean and fresh. If contaminated or stale, replace it. * Clean or replace the fuel filter if clogged. Additionally, ensure that the air vent screw on the fuel tank is open, and the choke knob is in the home position. The motor angle should also be in a normal operating position, and the fuel joint connection should be correctly connected. If you have checked these and it still doesn't work, there may be a problem with ignition parts, requiring service by a Yamaha dealer.
