8 Flushing with the Water Check Plug (If
provided)

Remove the propeller for safety when
using the water check plug.
1) Remove the screw located beside the
“WASH” mark on the lower casing.
2) Install the water check plug 1 and
connect it to a fresh-water tap.
3) Cover the cooling water inlet with a
tape.
4) Check that the engine is in Neutral
and turn on the water supply through
the water check plug.
5) Start the engine and run it at low
speed for a few minutes.
