If you're having trouble starting disc playback on your Yamaha DVD Player, first ensure that the disc label is facing up. If you are using a CD-R/RW, DVD+R/RW, or DVD-R/RW, make sure it is finalized. If the problem continues, the disc itself may be defective, so try playing another disc to see if the issue persists.
