Connection
Alternating Current (AC)
WARNING
Be sure any electric devices are turned off before
plugging them in.
NOTICE
9 Be sure all electric devices including the lines
and plug connections are in good condition
before connection to the generator.
9 Be sure the total load is within generator rated
output.
9 Be sure the receptacle load current is within
receptacle rated current.
TIP
9 Make sure to ground (earth) the generator.
When the electric device is grounded, be sure to
ground the generator, too.
9 The power output lead of the portable generator
(stator winding) is insulated from the frame and
ground pin of the AC receptacles.
Therefore, an electric device that requires ground-
ing through the AC receptacle when plugged in to
one of the output leads might not operate correct-
ly.
1. Start the engine.
2. Plug into AC receptacle.
3. Make sure the voltage/hour meter indicates the
rated voltage.
