Test
LCD display Test description, judging conditions, etc.

029 029: ROM Chk2 Checks the ROM. (Full check)
Check the ROM that is connected to the CPU.
(Read operation. Full Address Check SUM comparison.)
After executing the test, confirm that “OK” is displayed on the LCD.
(OK: “OK” / NG: “NG”)
030 030: RAM Chk2 Checks the RAMs. (Full check)
Check the RAMs that are connected to the CPU. (Read/Write operation for all area.)
After executing the test, confirm that “OK” is displayed on the LCD.
(OK: “OK” / NG: “NG”)
031 031: Wave ROM Chk2 Checks the wave ROMs. (Full check) This test takes about 2 minutes.
Check the wave ROMs that are connected to the tone generator.
(Read operation. Full Address Check SUM comparison.)
After executing the test, confirm that “OK” is displayed on the LCD.
While executing this test, “Now Executing” is displayed in blinking on the LCD.
(OK: “OK” / NG: “NG”)
032 032: Effect RAM Chk2 Checks the effect RAMs. (Full check) This test takes about 30 seconds.
Check the effect RAMs that are connected to the tone generator. (Read/Write operation for all area.)
After executing the test, confirm that “OK” is displayed on the LCD.
While executing this test, “Now Executing” is displayed in blinking on the LCD.
(OK: “OK” / NG: “NG”)
033 033: PNA SW, LED Chk Checks the panel switches and LEDs on the PNA circuit board.
It is the same as the test no. 011. When the switch test is ended, “Push SELECT” is displayed again.
Then press [SELECT] button to execute inspection of the segment display.
(Refer to the test no. 011 for more details.)
034 034: PNB SW, LED Chk Checks the panel switches and LEDs on the PNB circuit board.
It is the same as the test no. 011. (Refer to the test no. 011 for more details.)
But, the inspection of the segment display is executed by 033: PNA SW, LED chk.
035 035: Output Full R Full Level Output R Check. While sound is output, ON” is displayed on the LCD.
It is the same as the test no. 008. (Refer to the test no. 008 for more details.)
Outputs the signal with full level (0 dBFS) from the OUTPUT [R] terminal.
(As for the test no. 008 (OUTPUT R Check), the output signal level is -12dBFS.)
* If the master volume is at maximum position, output signal is clipped. In order to avoid it, adjust the
master volume so that the output level is + 8dBu (reference value).
036 036: Output Full L Full Level Output L Check. While sound is output, “ON” is displayed on the LCD.
It is the same as the test no. 009. (Refer to the test no. 009 for more details.)
Outputs the signal with full level (0 dBFS) from the OUTPUT [L] terminal.
(As for the test no. 009 (OUTPUT L Check), the output signal level is -12dBFS.)
* If the master volume is at maximum position, output signal is clipped. In order to avoid it, adjust the
master volume so that the output level is + 8dBu (reference value).
037 037: TG Chk Tone Generator Check
Automatically chromatic scales are output. (Sine wave: from C2 to G4 key, twice cycles.)
Confirm no abnormal sound or noise is generated.
After executing the test, “END” is displayed on the LCD.
038 038: Factory Set Factory Set
All data is reset to the factory default.
After executing the factory set, “OK” is displayed on the LCD.
(OK: “OK”)
039 039: Power off Chk Auto Power Off
Confirm the power is automatically turned off,
then release the latch of [
] (STANDBY/ON) switch with pressing it.
Confirm LCD displays nothing and backlight is turned off.
040 040: Exit Test Exit
Exits from the test mode, and reboots to the normal mode.
Caution: Keep the power on during the reboot.
