  If external components aren't responding to your Yamaha Receiver's remote, here's what to try: 1. **Remote Control Code:** Ensure the remote control code is correctly set using the “Remote control code search” on the CD-ROM. 2. **Alternative Code:** Try setting another code for the same manufacturer using the “Remote control code search” on the CD-ROM. 3. **Button Functionality:** If Cursor buttons aren't working during DVD menu operation, press the Input selector again. For Option/Setup menu issues, press SOURCE/RECEIVER (orange glow) and retry.
