HANDLEBAR

REMOVING THE HANDLEBAR
1. Stand the motorcycle on a level surface.
WARNING
_
Securely support the motorcycle so that
there is no danger of it falling over.
2. Remove:
front brake light switch
1
clutch switch
NOTE:
Push the fastener to remove the front brake
light switch from the brake master cylinder.
Push the fastener to remove the clutch
switch from the clutch lever.
3. Remove:
handlebar grip
1
NOTE:
_
Blow compressed air between the handlebar
and the handlebar grip, and gradually push the
grip off the handlebar.

CHECKING THE HANDLEBAR
1. Check:
handlebar
1
Bends/cracks/damage
Replace.
WARNING
_
Do not attempt to straighten a bent handle-
bar as this may dangerously weaken it.

INSTALLING THE HANDLEBAR
1. Stand the motorcycle on a level surface.
WARNING

Securely support the motorcycle so that
there is no danger of it falling over.
