  If the sounds from your Yamaha Electronic Keyboard are distorted, the effect settings may not be appropriate. Try changing the effect types and their settings. The distortion might also be due to the volume being set too high. Adjust the volume. If you're using external audio sources, adjust their volume or use the INPUT [GAIN] knob on the keyboard. You can also adjust the volume from the “I/O Volume” ? “USB Audio”.

  If a sound continues to play indefinitely on your Yamaha Electronic Keyboard, it might be due to lingering effect sounds like delay. Try lowering the [DEPTH] knob value or turning the EFFECT1/2 [ON/OFF] button or the Section [ON/OFF] switch to OFF. If another Live Set Sound is selected during a sound continues to play, press the currently selected Live Set Sound button once more.

  If you cannot save data to the external USB flash drive from your Yamaha Electronic Keyboard, the USB flash drive might be write-protected. Unlock the write protection. If that's not the case, the USB flash drive may not be formatted properly. Format it again.

  If nothing is displayed on the LCD of your Yamaha Electronic Keyboard even when the power is on, check if “Display Lights” ? “LCD SW” is set to “Off”. Set the “LCD SW” to “On”. If it’s already on, the “Display Lights” ? “LCD Contrast” value might be set too low. Adjust the contrast from “LCD Contrast”.
