å Cargo bed
Never allow passengers to ride in
the cargo bed. There is no seating
and passengers can easily fall out.
Always make sure your cargo is
secure when using the cargo bed.
Tie the load down with cords or
straps where needed.
OPENING AND CLOSING
THE TAILGATE
To open the tailgate, unhook the
latches, and then lower the tailgate.
To close, place the tailgate in its
original position, and then hook the
latches.

RAISING AND
LOWERING THE
CARGO BED
To raise the cargo bed, pull the
release lever toward the rear to
unlatch the latches. The gas spring
assists in raising and holding the
cargo bed open.
TIP
The gas spring will only open/hold
the cargo bed when it is empty.
