REPLACE
THE
BELT
A
WARNING
the
spark
plug.
Before
you
remove
the
drive
belt,
disconnect
the
wire
from
A
WARNING
Test
the
drive
system.
Start
the
engine
and
engage
and
disengage
the
mower
head
several
times.
when
disengaged,
make
sure
the
mower
head
completely
stops
when
resting
on
the
ground.
If
the
mower
head
continues
to
rotate,
take
the
mower
to
an
anauthorized
service
center
or
call
the
service
phone.

Remove the three
M5x10
screws
that
hold the decorative cover
to
the mower deck.

hold the rear
of
the
mower deck
to
the main
trimmer
shield.

Keep both wheels in contact
with
the ground
and
turn
the machine
backward and up, requiring a
helping hand
from
the
other
person
to
hold the machine steady. Remove the
four
M5x20
screws
that
hold the main
trimmer
shield

the deck.
