Mini-Motorbike Cleaning Recommendations
1. Always wash your Mini-Motorbike when the engine is cold. Otherwise, allow for the engine to cool
down completely.
2. Plug the end of your Mini-Motorbike muffler using a cloth or sponge so that water does not
enter.
3. Put a plastic bag in place over the air filter in the airbox. Secure with a rubber band in order to
protect the air filter from water (Before washing your Mini-Motorbike, please make sure both
the muffler and the air filter are blocked off*).
4. Give your Mini-Motorbike a hose down with cold water.
5. Wash your Mini-Motorbike using a dish soap (or other mild detergents **) and scrub it down with
a sponge.
6. Clean out/Scrape off any mud, dirt and grease using a mild degreasing cleaner.
7. Rinse thoroughly.
8. Use a chamois or soft clean cloth to dry off your Mini-Motorbike.
9. Lubricate the drive chain well.
10. Start the engine and keep it running for five minutes.
11. As a precautionary measure, ride off with a low engine speed and apply the brakes several times.
This will dry out the various moving parts and help ensure that they operate in proper working
order.
* Do not have either the carburettor or the muffler inhale water, as it may hydro-lock the engine. Hydro-
lock is not covered by the warranty under any circumstances.
** Do not use any harsh detergents or other chemical solvents. Such cleaning agents may damage various
parts of your Mini-Motorbike.
