Plug‘n‘Play
Ready, set up, go !
Connect your PUC2 to your computer (Mac/Windows/Linux) by always using
the supplied USB cable. Make sure that you connect both USB-A plugs, the
yellow and the black one. The yellow connector is needed to provide suicient
power for the unit. No data is transferred via this connector.
As soon as you connect your PUC2 to your PC or Mac for the rst time, a USB
device installation will be performed automatically. PUC2 will be registered
as YELLOWTEC PUC. To use high resolution audio (192KHz) with Windows, the
installation of ASIO and WME* drivers is required. This is not required for Mac.
To use PUC2 with a LINUX system, the rmware of PUC2 needs to be updated to
a special Linux version. The appropriate downloads can be found at
www.yellowtec.com/puc2/downloads.
As soon as the RDY LED turns permanently green, your PUC2 is successfully
connected to your host computer.
