Manual Start Up
Here are the steps to manually light the grill in the event that the igniter fails. (Steps 2 & 3 only apply if the
igniter has developed a dead short and is tripping the GFCI or blowing the fuse.)
1. Be sure the unit power cord is unplugged. Remove the cooking grates, diff user plate and burn grate.
2. Reach into the hopper cavity on the left side of the igniter tube and pull the igniter wires into the
fi rebox.
