8. Relay Board
This section explains the parts, cable connections and maintenance of the relay board for
ProSafe-RS.

Overview
The status output signal sent from the digital output module is received by the relay
, amplified
through the terminals, and output to the field device. The relays, operational display lights,
and terminals on the relay output board correspond with the number of outputs. The 19-inch
rack mountable relay board has a readback interface. The relay output status can be read
back by connecting the digital input module (SDV144).
