This document describes the Z-EDGE 34" LED Gaming Monitor, model UG34.
The Z-EDGE UG34 is a 34-inch LED gaming monitor designed for an immersive gaming experience. It features a wide 21:9 aspect ratio and a VA panel type, offering a resolution of 3440x1440 at a refresh rate of 100Hz. The monitor boasts a fast MPRT 1ms response time, crucial for competitive gaming, and wide viewing angles of 178°/178° (CR>10). With a brightness of 300cd/m² and a contrast ratio of 3000:1, it delivers vibrant and deep visuals. The monitor supports 1.07 billion colors (10bit) and includes HDR10 for enhanced dynamic range.
Connectivity:
The monitor offers a variety of input options:
- Power: DC 12V input.
- USB: For firmware updates.
- HDMI 2: Supports HDMI 1.4, WQHD 60Hz with FreeSync.
- HDMI 1: Supports HDMI 2.0, WQHD 100Hz with FreeSync.
- DP (DisplayPort): Supports DisplayPort 1.2, WQHD 100Hz with FreeSync & G-Sync.
- Audio Out: For connecting external audio devices.
It also includes built-in 2x2W speakers.
Usage Features:
The monitor provides a comprehensive On-Screen Display (OSD) menu for customization:
- Allows switching between DisplayPort, HDMI1, and HDMI2 inputs.
Brightness/Contrast:
- Brightness: Adjustable from 0 to 100.
- Contrast: Adjustable from 0 to 100.
- DCR (Dynamic Contrast Ratio): Can be turned on or off.
Color Setting:
- Gamma: Adjustable to 1.8, 2.0, 2.2, 2.4, or 2.6.
- Picture Mode: Offers presets like Standard, Photo, Movie, and Game.
- Color Temperature: Options include Standard, Warm, Cool, and User-defined.
- Hue: Adjustable from 0 to 100.
- Saturation: Adjustable from 0 to 100.
- Low Blue Light: Adjustable from 0 to 100 to reduce eye strain.
Picture Quality Setting:
- Sharpness: Adjustable from 0 to 100.
- Response Time: Options include High, Middle, and Low.
- Noise Reduction: Options include High, Middle, and Low.
- Super Resolution: Options include High, Middle, and Low.
- Dynamic Luminous Control (DLC): Can be turned On or Off.
Display:
- Aspect Ratio: Adjustable to Auto, 4:3, or 1:1.
Audio:
- Mute: Turns the audio source on or off.
- Volume: Adjustable from 0 to 100.
Multi-Window:
- Allows adjustment of multi-window modes (Off, PIP, PBP).
- SubWin 2 Input: Selects the input for the secondary window (e.g., HDMI2(1.4)).
- PIP Size: Adjusts the size of the Picture-in-Picture window.
- PIP Position: Adjusts the position of the Picture-in-Picture window (e.g., TopRight).
- Swap: Swaps the main and secondary window inputs.
OSD Settings:
- Language: Supports Chinese, English, Korean, Russian, Spanish, Japanese, French.
- OSD H-Position: Adjusts the horizontal position of the OSD menu from 0 to 100.
- OSD V-Position: Adjusts the vertical position of the OSD menu from 0 to 100.
- Menu Transparency: Adjustable from 0 to 100.
- OSD Time Out: Sets how long the OSD menu remains on before automatically exiting.
- Menu Rotation: Rotates the OSD menu (Normal, 90°, 180°, 270°).
Other Settings:
- FreeSync (Adaptive Sync): Can be turned on or off.
- HDR: Can be turned on or off.
- MPRT: Can be turned on or off.
- Firmware Update: Allows updating firmware via the USB port.
- Reset: Returns all settings to factory defaults.
Shortcut Key Guide:
- Signal Input Selection: Use navigation buttons to select the source.
- Line of Sight Feature: Cycles between colors or turns off.
- ECO Mode Feature: Cycles through presets.
Safety Information and Maintenance:
- Always read and follow safety and operating instructions.
- Keep the manual for future reference.

- Ensure adequate ventilation (at least 5cm/2" clearance) if placed in a cabinet.
- Do not tap or shake the screen.
- Avoid exposing the apparatus to rain or moisture, and do not place liquid-filled objects on it.
- The wall plug socket serves as a disconnection device and should remain accessible.
- Batteries should not be exposed to excessive heat.
- The monitor should only be connected to a mains power supply as rated on the back of the equipment.
- Avoid overloading power supply sockets.
- Do not place connecting wires where they may be stepped on or tripped over, or place heavy items on cables.
- When removing from a socket, hold the plug, not the wires.
- Disconnect power immediately and seek professional help if the plug/cable is damaged, liquid spills, exposed to water/moisture, or if anything penetrates ventilation slots, or if the set does not work normally.
- Do not remove safety covers; there are no user-serviceable parts inside.
- Prolonged listening at full volume may damage hearing.
Wall Mounting:
The monitor is VESA compliant with a 100x100mm mounting pattern. Screws required are 4 x M6 x 10 (not supplied). Do not use longer screws than specified to avoid internal damage. Due to the monitor's weight, professional installation is recommended.

The typical power consumption is 50W, with a power type of 12V, 5A.
