  • Hob Burner Power (Normal / Reduced):
    • Auxiliary: 1 kW / 0.33 kW
    • Semi-rapid: 2 kW / 0.45 kW
    • Rapid (Natural Gas): 3 kW / 0.65 kW
    • Rapid (LPG): 2.8 kW / 0.65 kW
  • Dimensions: 850mm (height), 900mm (width), 550mm (depth).
  • Compliance: The appliance complies with EEC Directives 73/23 - 90/683 (Low Voltage), 89/336 (Electromagnetical Compatibility), 90/396 (Gas Appliance), and 93/68 (General Directives).

Usage Features:

  • Hob Burner Ignition: To ignite a burner, push and turn the corresponding knob anticlockwise to the maximum position. Models with a safety device require the knob to be pressed for approximately 5 seconds until the flame is lit. The flame can then be regulated.
  • Gas Supply Control: Knobs allow for maximum, minimum, and off positions for gas supply.
  • Electric Hotplates (if applicable): Regulated to four positions (1-minimum, 4-maximum heat).
  • Electric Oven Control: The oven function control knob sets the temperature (50°C to max) and activates different heating elements (lower, upper, grill). The thermostat maintains the selected temperature. Separate symbols allow for specific lower or upper heating.
  • Grilling: When grilling, the oven door must be left ajar, and a switch protection shield inserted. The enamelled dripping pan is provided for collecting cooking juices, and a grill for cooking food.
  • Oven Door Protection Device: A special protection device can be purchased and fitted to the oven door to prevent children from being exposed to heat.
  • Mechanical Timer: A timer can be set for up to one hour, providing an acoustic signal when the pre-established time has elapsed. It does not automatically turn off the oven.
  • Pottery Advice: Use flat-based pans with appropriate diameters for burners/hotplates to optimize cooking and reduce gas/electricity consumption. Cover boiling casseroles and reduce flame once boiling. Avoid plastic-handled pans in the oven.
  • Oven Cooking Advice:
    • Cakes: Pre-heat oven for at least 10 minutes. Avoid opening the door during rising. Check doneness with a toothpick. Adjust temperature and cooking time based on desired texture.
    • Meat: Use at least 1 kg of meat to prevent dryness. Use minimal oil/butter. Salt red meat after half the cooking time. Place roasts in low-rimmed dishes. Cook rare meat at high initial temperature, then reduce. Cook white meat at moderate temperature throughout.
    • Fish: Cook small fish at high temperature throughout. Medium fish at high initial temperature, then lower. Large fish at moderate temperature throughout.
    • Grilling: Suitable for sliced meat, poultry, fish, and some vegetables. Lightly brush with oil. Position food on the grill at appropriate levels. Pour water into the dripping pan to prevent smoke. Can also be used for browning and toasting.
  • Cooking Times: A table of cooking times is provided as a guide, but experience will help in adjusting values based on food type, consistency, and volume.

Maintenance Features:

  • General Cleaning: Disconnect the unit before cleaning. Remove sauce, fruit juice, etc., with a soft cloth and warm detergent water. Avoid steel wool or knives on enamel. Wash enamelled grids, burner covers, and baffles with warm water and detergent. Dry thoroughly and reposition correctly. Clean oven door and crystal cover with warm water and soft cloths.
  • Burner Cleaning: Rub burners with steel wool or a slightly abrasive cloth. Periodically clean the sparkling bulb in cookers with automatic ignition.
  • Oven Cavity Cleaning: Clean the oven cavity when warm using warm detergent water or appropriate spray oven cleaners. Avoid directing spray onto mat steel parts. Clean oven accessories (grate, grid-plate) with warm water and detergent. Remove incrustations with abrasive powder.
  • Aluminium Foil: Never line any part of the oven with aluminium foil as it can damage enamel and cooking results.
  • Controls - Sundries: Periodically check and replace the flexible gas connection pipe (annually recommended). Have cocks periodically lubricated by skilled technicians.
  • Oven Lamp Replacement: Disconnect appliance. Unscrew and replace with a 230V, 15W, E14 lamp (300°C).
  • Oven Door Disassembly for Cleaning: Open door fully, turn two caps on the hinge 180°, partially close door to 30°, lift and extract. Reassemble by reversing the process.
  • Lid Cleaning: All cooker lids can be disassembled for cleaning. Enamelled lids are shown in Fig. 9. Crystal lids follow specific instructions. Reposition carefully after cleaning.
  • Cylinder Cabinet (if applicable): Do not store non-connected or empty cylinders. Ensure sufficient ventilation if a cylinder cabinet is present. A set of grids and shelves can convert it into a closet.
  • Gas Connection Adaptation: Instructions are provided for adapting the appliance to different gas types (Natural Gas or LPG) by replacing hob burner nozzles and adjusting the minimum flame level.
  • Troubleshooting: A section on "What to do if the appliance doesn't work" provides checks for abnormal gas flow, gas smell, oven not heating, long cooking times, smoke production, and oven lamp failure.
  • Spare Parts: Original spare parts, certified by the manufacturer, are available at authorized Technical Assistance Centres and Spare Parts Shops. Repairs should only be carried out by qualified personnel.
