Why does the flame extinguish immediately after ignition on my Zanussi Hob?

If the flame on your Zanussi Hob extinguishes immediately after ignition, it could be due to a couple of reasons. First, the thermocouple might not be heating up sufficiently; try keeping the knob pushed for about 10 seconds after lighting the flame. Alternatively, the burner crown might be blocked with food residues. Ensure that the injector is not blocked and the burner crown is clean.
