Your Zaptec Go2 has a built-in display that shows helpful information about your
charging station. The display has two modes: the normal mode and the MID mode.
MID modeNormal mode
Total amount of energy imported by the
charger over its lifetime. Measured in kWh.
Total amount of energy exported by the
charger over its lifetime. Measured in kWh.
Software identifier
An example error code in the event of an
error in the MID module. The characters
MID are displayed in the authentication area
and the MID error code is shown in red and
prefixed with a letter “E”. If you see this code,
please contact Zaptec Support.

This mode is required for legal compliance and is not
relevant for your daily use. It is entered automatically
every time you power up your Zaptec Go 2. You can
also enter the MID mode at any time by inserting and
removing a charging cable twice within 5 seconds,
without a car connected. If Permanent cable lock
is enabled, please disable it before entering the
MID mode. Once displayed, the mode will
automatically be exited after about 30 seconds.
Before taking a meter reading, ensure the characters
MID are displayed in the authentication area. If they
are not, the reading is invalid.
This is the mode you will be
interacting with most of the time.
It shows information related
to your daily use of Zaptec Go2.
