Why 16MB of memory?
We increased the available memory in the P110i printer due to changing applications and customer
demand.
Will it work with my software application?
Yes. The P110i printer has been tested with some of the leading software applications; Number Five
CardFive, Synercard AssureID, Screencheck Badgemaker, Imageware EPISuite.
What are the supported card types and thicknesses?
The P110i printer will support 30 mil thick cards with a tolerance range of ±10%. PVC and PVC
composite cards will print in this printer.
How do you single-feed cards?
The CardSense
TM
single card-feed upgrade kit is available through your reseller. After installing the kit
and changing the driver to single card-feed mode, you can insert individual cards through the output
slot on the front of the printer. Once the driver is set to operate in single-feed mode, the printer will only
accept cards through the front slot and ignore any cards in the card feeder.

Will the P110i work in a networked environment?
The P110i printer comes with a USB communication port. However, using the printer as a shared
printer, or with an external Ethernet printer server, will allow multiple users to access the printer. To use
the P110i with an external print server, the Ethernet version of the drivers must be installed.
Is the cleaning and maintenance routine different from other Zebra card printers?
Like all Zebra card printers, the P110i requires routine cleaning and maintenance for optimal
performance. The P110i printer uses two cleaning cards - a long card to clean the print engine and a
small card to clean the card feeder.
Is the i Series functionality the same as other Zebra
i
Series card printers?
Yes, P110i i Series functionality is the same as other Zebra i Series card printers. On other i Series
card printers; RFID is used to communicate the ribbon information to the printer. On the P110i, a
contact SIM chip is used to communicate the ribbon information to the printer.
What are the LCD messages I can expect to see and what do they mean?
The LCD will display various status messages, such as: out of cards or ribbon; downloading data;
printing or encoding; and error messages. All messages are currently in English, but translations are
included in the user manuals. For a full list, please refer to your P110i User’s Manual.
