Installing the Printhead
Note: Use care when handing the Printhead Assembly. Avoid getting your fingers
on the glass surface of the printhead. Always clean the printhead after installation
to remove any oils or debris that may have accumulated during installation.
1. Plug in the printhead flex cable to the connector located on the back of the
assembly and make sure it’s fully seated.
2. Install the four (4) Springs in the recessed holes as previously shown.
3. Rotate the printhead assembly and ensure that it’s seated squarely over the
four springs.
4 Use an e-ring installation tool to install the two e-rings as shown above. (Use
new e-rings supplied with the repair kit.)
