Installing the Media Cover (with Black
Bar Sensor)
1. Insert the Torsion Spring into the
mounting holes located on the Lower
Housing.
2. Align the hinges of the Media Cover
Assembly with the hinges of the Lower
Housing. Make sure that the Torsion
Spring is located on the inside of the
Media Cover Assembly.
3. Route the Black Bar Cable through
the slot (circled) on the left side
between the Media Cover and the
Media Tub.
4. Slide the hinge pin through the
hinges and through the Torsion Spring.
The hinge pin should be centered with
the ends ush with the outside hinge on
either side.
5. Route the cable under the Media Tub
and secure it around the three-pronged
tab as shown.
