Why is my Zephyr Ventilation Hood not venting properly?
Several factors can cause improper venting. Ensure the ducting is at least 3-1/4”x10” or higher and made of solid, rigid metal, as flexible ducting can reduce airflow by up to 50%. Also, the hood should be positioned between 24” and 32” from the cooktop. External wind from open windows or doors can affect ventilation, so close them. Finally, check for and remove any blockages in the ductwork or duct opening.
