Unpacking
UNPACKING
• Use a box cutter to remove tape on the box packaging.
• Cut the box packaging through the section illustrated in dotted lines in the figure below
and remove it.
• If this refrigerator was purchased with door panels, the panels and handles ship in multiple
boxes and require additional assembly upon installation.
• Please note the diagrams on the following pages will alternate showing the appliance with
and without panels installed; this is done purposefully to show how the item will look panel-
ready versus with panel installed.
• Door panel preparation and installation is covered starting on page 51.
Due to refrigerators weighing between 342 and 355 pounds (155 and
161 kilograms), at least two people must move units when unpacking and
installing.
