This document describes a Zokop Portable Air Cooler, outlining its functions, technical specifications, usage, and maintenance.
Function Description:
The Zokop Portable Air Cooler is designed to provide fresh and clean air through an evaporative cooling process. It operates by drawing in air, passing it through a wet cooling pad, and then releasing cooler, humidified air. The device features various modes and controls to customize the user experience, including different fan speeds, cooling functions, and an auto-swing feature for wider air distribution. It is intended for indoor use to improve air quality and comfort.

All models operate on a 110V/60Hz power supply, indicating they are designed for regions with this electrical standard. The varying airflow, power consumption, water capacities, and dimensions allow users to choose a model suitable for different room sizes and cooling needs.
Usage Features:
The cooler is equipped with a control panel and various operational modes:
- ON/OFF: Starts or stops the cooler.
- Model: Allows selection between Normal, Natural, or Sleep modes, catering to different comfort preferences throughout the day or night.
- Timer: Enables setting a working time from 1 hour to 12 hours, providing convenience and energy saving.
- Speed: Offers low, medium, or high fan speed settings to adjust the intensity of air circulation.
- Swing: Activates the auto-swing function for the vent, moving it left and right to distribute air more broadly across a room.
- Cooling: Engages the pump to start the evaporative cooling process, activating the cooling function.
- Night: Turns on/off the light of the screen, useful for nighttime operation to avoid disturbance.
Key components visible on the device include a control panel, swing vents, water tank, and wheels for portability. Other components mentioned are tempered glass, a PP shell, power cord, dust cover, cooling pad, and a water level display.
Maintenance Features:
Regular maintenance is crucial for optimal performance and longevity of the air cooler.
- Water Change: Regularly change the water when it becomes dirty to ensure fresh and clean air delivery.
- Filter Pad and Cooling Pad Cleaning: Both the dust filter and the cooling pad require regular cleaning.
- To remove the filter pad, unscrew the four screws on the rear of the cooler, lift the pad, and pull it out from the bottom. To replace, slide it up into the slot under the top of the cooler, push it in at the bottom, and let it drop into the lower slot.
- Clean the pad from the inner side (towards the motor) to the outer side. Do not use any liquid detergent or pressurized water, as it can damage the pad.
- Water Tank Cleaning: Unscrew the drainage lid to empty dirty water, then clean the water tank. Wash off dirt from the water sensor, water pump, and float valve, then rinse thoroughly.
- Casing Cleaning: Use mild soap and a soft, clean cloth to clean the cooler casing. Avoid caustic chemical detergents, which can damage the surface.
- Algae and Biological Organism Prevention: To prevent the buildup of algae and other biological organisms in the reservoir, regularly add chlorine/bromine tablets according to the tablet manufacturer's recommendations for evaporative cooler reservoirs.
The troubleshooting section also provides guidance on common issues and their solutions, such as checking the unit is plugged in for a dark operating screen, cleaning the cooling pad for low airflow, tightening the drain valve for water leaks, and replacing specific components like the main control board, fuse, fan, synchronous motor, or crankshaft if they malfunction. For complex issues, users are advised to contact their distributor for service.
