Serial Port Installation
If you want to use yourBluetooth modem connected to your
computer with a serial cable, you can do so by following these
instructions. Note that a switch on the modem lets you select
Bluetooth “wireless” or “wired” operation.
If you are using Windows, be sure to install the setup software
before installing the hardware. If you are using Linux or
MacOS, there is no need to install any software, so you should
go to page 18, Connect the Hardware

Installing the Software on a Windows PC

Turn your computer on.

Insert the supplied CD into your computer’s CD-ROM drive.
Wait for it to auto-run. (Note: If the CD does not auto-run,
from the desktop, go to Start | Run and type E:\setup.exe,
where E is the letter of your CD-ROM drive.)

When the main interface appears, click Install Modem
Drivers. Follow the prompts, clicking Next and then Finish
when the process is complete.
Windows 98 Users: During installation, you may be prompted
for your Windows installation CD. If so, insert it into the
computer’s CD-ROM drive and click OK.

Shut down your computer.
