Protect Your Phone with a Screen Lock
1. Swipe up from the home screen and touch Settings >
Security > Screen lock.
2. Touch Swipe, Pattern, PIN, or Complex password.
 Touch Swipe. Anyone can unlock the screen by
touching the display and sliding up.
 Touch Pattern to create a pattern that you must draw
to unlock the screen.
 Touch PIN or Complex password to set a numeric
PIN or a password that you must enter to unlock the
screen.
Use the Fingerprint sensor
Unlock the screen, answer calls or read notifications using
the Fingerprint sensor.
Open Settings > Security > Fingerprint.
Touch Fingerprint management to set up the sensor to
read your fingerprints.
Additional settings are available:
Tap the sensor to answer incoming calls
Swipe down to View notifications
Swipe up to view Recent apps
