2. Your favorite contacts and frequently called contacts or
numbers are listed at the top of the screen. Touch a contact
or number to call it.
Calling Emergency Numbers
You can place calls to 911 even if the phone’s screen is locked or
your account is restricted.
To call the 911 emergency number when the phone’s screen
is locked with a screen lock:
1. Turn the screen on if it is turned off.
2. Touch and hold Emergency call on the screen.
3. Touch beside 911.
NOTE: You can also touch an emergency contact (ICE) to call it.
You can add emergency contacts you need into the Emergency
contacts (ICE) group in People app.
To call the 911 emergency number normally or when your
account is restricted:
1. Unlock the screen.
2. Touch the Home Key > .
3. Touch .
NOTE: When you make an emergency call, the phone
automatically enters Emergency mode.
