lIftheantennaisalignedwiththemainlobedirection,gotothenextstep.
3.Verifythatthetwoendsofthelinkhaveconsistentantennapolarization,andtheODU
andantennahaveconsistentpolarization.
4.Drawthecrosssectiondiagraminaccordancewiththemap,andverifythatthereis
noobstacle.Ifthereisanyobstacle,modifythemountingheightoftheantennaor
changetheroutedirection.
5.Verifythatthefeedersandconnectorsdonothavewaterleakageorarenotmoist.The
connectorsincludethosebetweentheantennaandcombiner,betweenthecombiner
andODU,andbetweentheODUandfeeder.Ifthereceiveleveldropsduetowater
leakage,resolvethewaterleakageproblemorreplacetheODU.
6.VerifythattheantennaandODUareingoodcondition.
lVerifythattheODUpowerdoesnotdecrease.Ifthepowerisinsufcient,replace
theODU.
lInareaswithserioussaltcorrosion,verifythattheequipmentdoesnotrust.If
thereceiveleveldropsduetoantennarust,usetheantennathatprovidessalt
corrosionprevention.
2.2.2ErrorCodesAreGeneratedontheRadioLink
Performthefollowingtroubleshootingsteps:
1.VerifythattheactualoperatingpowerandtransmittingpoweroftheODUsatthetwo
endsoftheradiolinkarenormal.
IntheLMTsystem,ifthedisplayedoperatingfrequencyisconsistentwiththedesigned
valueandthedifferencebetweentheactualtransmittingpowerandthedesignedvalue
doesnotexceed±2dBm,theradiolinkisconsiderednormal;otherwise,theradiolink
isabnormal.
2.VerifythatthereceivelevelsoftheODUsarenormal.Foroperationdetails,referto
"1.3.1CheckingtheReceiveLevel".
3.VerifythattheMSEvalueisnormal.
IftheMSEvalueisnormal,theerrorcodeproblemiscausedbyinterference.
4.VerifythattheIFcablesconnectedtotheODUsarenormal.Foroperationdetails,
referto"1.3.5CheckingtheIFCable".
2.2.3RadioLinkIsDisconnected
Performthefollowingtroubleshootingsteps:
1.Adjusttheremotetransmittingpowerwithintheallowedtransmittingpowerrange,and
verifythatthelocalRSLiswithinthenormalrange.
2.VerifythattheODUfrequenciesatthetwoendsoftheradiolinkarematched.
3.VerifythatthebandwidthsandmodulationmodesofODUsatthetwoendsoftheradio
linkareconsistent.
4.VerifythattheIFinterfaceoftheIDUhasratedDCvoltage.IftheIFinterfacedoes
nothaveratedDCvoltage,replacetheIDU.
